As our new Advanced Solutions Pre-Sales within Cisco at Ingram Micro you will join a technical team of knowledgeable specialists.

This team delivers solutions within data centers, networking, and security, and together with your colleagues, you will have the opportunity to accelerate Ingram Micro’s focus on Cisco. Since you will be acting as a specialist, it is of utmost importance that you hold a Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent.

The Role

In the role of Pre-sales Specialist, you are responsible for supporting our most important and largest customers within the Advanced Solutions business area, where we work with data centers, networking, and security. With deep technical expertise and attentiveness, you will work, together with the supplier, to propose solutions tailored to the customer’s needs.

Examples of Work Tasks

  • Installation and management of regarding products (mainly Cisco) 
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with the key partners and customers (technical account management)
  • Prepare quotes and solution proposals for customers
  • Presence throughout the entire process from customer inquiry to delivered order
  • Provide technical expertise in the relevant area both externally and internally
  • Conduct training sessions (internally/externally), create customer presentations and workshops
  • Develop strategies to advance technology and product range from the supplier
  • Stay updated on market trends
  • Maintain the required certification level for the area


You are a technical salesperson with an understanding of the customer’s needs. To thrive in this role, it is important that you feel confident in your technical knowledge, enjoy conducting training sessions, and can participate in and drive technical discussions with the supplier. Your ability to understand the customer’s business and needs will help you succeed with your customers. You will develop and build relationships, find new solutions, and have the courage to make the right decisions.

We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in similar work, who enjoys long-term relationships, and feels ready for the next step. The right candidate enjoys working actively with our customers and wants to take responsibility for technical product knowledge, both during the sales phase and afterward. The position requires documented technical experience, and it is important that you have worked with or have experience in solution-oriented sales and hold certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
