Finance Manager

Are you a dynamic financial leader who’s ready to drive excellence and innovation? Then join us at Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions and division Rock Tools as we’re seeking a Finance Manager for our Swedish company to lead our finance team and manage our financial processes.

About your job

In this position, you lead, direct, and support the finance team to maintain both short and long-term financial health, while ensuring compliance with IFRS, local legislation and Sandvik regulations. You perform and develop a variety of financial activities, including accounting, forecasting, financial analysis, audit, tax, and treasury. By developing and evaluating financial plans and policies, you establish accounting and reporting controls, as well as timely and qualitative transactions and reporting . You advise management on financial matters and the impact of laws and regulations, as well as manage relationships with consultants, advisors and various stakeholders involved in our financial processes.

Also included in your job:

  • Support the company board with reports and insights.
  • Drive finance competence development through guidelines, training, and collaboration.
  • Maintain up to date Limits of Authority and ensure process integrity.
  • Support compliance and risk management processes.
  • Lead efforts to improve quality and efficiency in financial processes.

 The location for this position is Sandviken and some travel within Sweden is required. International business travel may occur.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with several years of experience in financial control and accounting. You have knowledge of financial principles, rules and processes to support and improve compliance and performance. You have solid managerial experience, enabling you to drive and coach the finance team’s development, and your knowledge is backed by a relevant education in finance. With high IT literacy, you challenge us to push for higher degrees of digitalization and automation. To analyze, develop and present information, you’re skilled in SAP, OneStream, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
